My showcase of Animation

Description

This website is mainly focuses on my work so far within animation. I have had little experience with animating, but something I really wanted to focus on best, as I enjoyed it the most within the program. These are the three animated videos I have made throughout the two semesters.

Figma

Monster Blender

This was my first time actually animating in Blender. I have done it at times for the exercises and for the 3rd year project. However, this was different, as I managed to use armatures and properly place keyframes, rather than just using the live movements to animate. This was a group project in Emerging Tech, with 3 others that worked with me. Despite on how much we had to plan to get it finished, and with 4 weeks to complete it worked well, and for my first time, I liked out it turned out. The left shows the moodboard of the environment and characters, and the right is the final production.

2D Clash

This 2D animation was used for a Video and Audio Editing Project. I worked on this with a friend and we planned and worked on this in the span of around 3 weeks. Due to time, we cut little things, like no voice acting and my friend rushed on 2 clips and even lost an old one. Despite these small issues we needed to cut, I'm happy with the result of our work. The left is our character concepts and the right is our video.

Robot Invasion

This animation is another 3D, but the concept of this animation was different compared to the others. At first, I wanted to use an animation for my Emerging Tech 2 LIA. However, I needed to import my objects in Blender to a different software, and due to the software's importing settings, having issues with importing an animation from Blender itself into the software and with the requirements, my animation wouldn't be in the software, but my objects by themselves would be able to. So ultimately, I just decided to use the Robot for my Emerging Tech 2 LIA, and instead, I would make a personal animation for the fun of it. Since I wasn't limited to requirements, I rendered the video and edited it with Adobe softwares for more effects. The Left is my concept of my Robot and the right is the video
